Curbside Waste Diversion Policy

Council was asked to

1. staff review and report back to Committee and Council on diversion options including the possibility of introducing clear plastic bags and an organics ban if the Council approved Curbside Diversion Policy change falls short of meeting Provincial policy targets as part of the proposed full program review in 2027 in which staff will present Council with potential amendments and/or further recommendations to enhance curbside waste diversion.
