The recitals
- as part of the Mid-term Governance Report, the City Clerk has informed City Council of her intent to implement a Department-led Working Group Policy in the context of the Corporate Administrative Policy Framework
- the draft Policy states that Department-led Working Groups would be subject to to the Records Management Policy, which includes a “Duty to Document” and that related records would be subject to Routine Disclosure and Active Dissemination Plans and must be preserved in approved recordkeeping systems
- ¸ despite the above-noted references, the wording of the Policy with respect to the requirement for minutes/meeting notes could be simplified to make these requirements clearer to all staff
